Full time/Freelance Computer Scientist: Data Mining Developer/Engineer (Mahout, UIMA,

RapidMiner, Mallet, Shogun)
Job Description

- Development and deployment of different web projects within Avazu's R&D team
- Participating on semantic web projects based on open source technologies
- Building scalable data mining infrastructures to process large amount of contextual data
- Implementation of data mining, web mining, machine learning and information retrieval

algorithms
- Implementation of patter recognition algoritms
- Adaption of existing technologies and known algorithms to archieve efficiency and scalability


Desired Skills & Experience

- Computer science bachelor or plus
- Ability to split complex problems into multiple single components solvable by algorithms
- Ability in more than one (object-oriented) programming languages (Java or C++ preferred)
- Experience with web service-oriented development (REST or SOAP)
- Knowledge/Experience in Mahout, UIMA, RapidMiner, Mallet, Shogun
- Fast learning attitude and passionate to work in startup environments :-)
