Purpose:
To represent ITW in a sales
capacity to assigned accounts, maintaining contacts with established
customers and developing new accounts. Initiates and follow up on new
product development opportunities and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Fully responsible for all the Sales / Engineering activities
for a key account - automotive OEM . The Account Manager will lead the
engineering team to specify in all the sales / engineering activities of
OEMs and relevant Tiers business

Confers with Project Engineering Department and utilizes
his/her knowledge of the customer's operation and of ITW development and
manufacturing skills, techniques and capabilities to replace an
existing competitive part or a present method of assembly with a more
efficient ITW part to achieve better results.

Observes customer manufacturing and assembly operations and
contacts personnel within the customer organization who are
knowledgeable regarding engineering, production or assembly problems

Qualification:

Engineering background (Either in Plastic injection or Metal
Stamping experience / Mechanical engineering experience / Automotive
engineering) in automotive industry

Successful and proven performance in sales and automotive
industry for more than 5 years. Having a good overall knowledge of all
areas of the vehicle ie interior , exterior, trim etc. Fastener
knowledge or small components experience preferred.
