Responsibility:

• Obtain competitive and responsive quotation in a timely manner.
• Evaluate all factors involved, recommend placement of orders, and negotiate lowest price and requested delivery.
• Provide input for Purchasing Reports including detailed data and follow?up actions relating to items for which the Buyer is responsible.
• Prepare and initiate Bid Tabulations and Purchase Orders for all items to be purchased.
• Analyze and check validity (non?technically) of request for changes from Vendors and, when required, negotiate final resolution of all commercial matters in connection with vendor requests for order value changes.
• Perform or Assist in expediting material deliveries when necessary.
• Identify possible Non Conformities.
• Suggest the Corrective Action and provide input for Corrective and Preventive Action.
• Assist Logistic Coordinator in the matter of delivery.
• Assist inspection and expediting coordinator for inspection arrangement in case of necessary;
• Interface with site material control dealing with material delivery status, material discrepancy, damage, and shortage of material.

Skill Requirement/Experience:

• International engineering company background is appreciated;
• 3 ~ 6 years engineering project procurement experience is needed;
• 2 years engineering project procurement management experience is appreciated for senior buyer;
• Technical background is needed located in chemical project
• Well known of commercial knowledge;
• Good and flexible communication skill dealing with client, supplier, internal is necessary;
• Fluent English both in written and conversation;
• Good computer skill.
