KEY JOB FUNCTIONS 主要工作职责
* Ensures that suppliers’ (emerging) technology roadmaps are documented and meeting / covering with TST technical requirements and are communicated to R&D and Procurement function. Drives awareness and use of suppliers’ state of the art technology evolutions into the internal R&D organizations.
* Drives and coordinates the Supplier Product Change Notification (SPCN) process. Identifies potential product impacting
* Provides expert technical support into various processes such as supplier / technology selection, supplier capability audits, commercial supplier negotiations, cost optimization initiatives.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS 特定工作职责
* Develops documents, communicates and updates sourcing & complexity reduction / standardization strategies together with the R&D function and in collaboration with the design owner organizations and Transportation Signal field. Defines the preferred parts (golden parts)
* Drives and supports component risk assessment and reduction along the product life cycle to reduce total costs and to improve quality and reliability.
* Delivers accurate, complete and timeliness technical data covering manufacturer part numbers, new parts requests, environmental data (e.g safety, RoHS), component lifecycle changes, commodity code allocation, SPCN …
* Develops, documents and maintains procedures, processes, guidelines and metrics for materials and manufacturers related processes. Participates into the relevant transformation programs and develops requirements specifications towards IT.


BASIC SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS 基本技能要求
* B.Sc. Electromechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent.
* 3 years or above electronic design, component engineer relevant working experience.
* Excellent English reading, writing and speaking
* Good report skills
* Familiar with MS-Office
