Job purpose:
Primarily responsible for equipment demonstration, customer training, site evaluation and technical sales of BPIM, PPIM and IPS products. Secondary responsibility in repair, maintenance and calibration of BPIM, PPIM & iPS products according to Kaelus demand, adhering to safety and quality policies/procedures, continually improve products and procedures as well as training and developing fellow team members.

Main Job Responsibilities:
?Technically competent with the specifications, operation, and first line servicing of BPIM, PPIM and iPS products
?Proficient in demonstrating the practical use of BPIM and PPIM products
?Ability to transfer knowledge to customers on the use of BPIM and PPIM products
?Assist in closing of sales from a technical standpoint for BPIM, PPIM and iPS products
?Ability to discern equipment misuse and equipment failures at customer level
?Diagnose first level service requirements and ensure customer equipment is maintained operational in the most efficient manner
?Conduct efficient and effective repair, maintenance and calibration of BPIM/PPIM and IPS products both in-house and onsite at customer premises
?Log all RMA activity via Jira software including failure mode, parts used, work carried out and time allocated for the RMA
?Ensure repair, maintenance and calibration is achieved safely, is of the highest quality and is in line with customer demands
?Ensure all required material is requested through the appropriate channels
?Ensure timely completion of all paperwork to expedite invoicing and feedback to customers
?Identify areas of improvement for BPIM/PPIM & IPS products and feedback to Brisbane Manufacturing and Engineering for assessment and implementation
?Continually improve procedure and processes related to the Local Service Cell
?Keep up to date with technology and new products
?Support other departments on an as needs basis, Share technical knowledge with other departments to provide cross training each other.

Job Requirements(Education, ability, experience, attribute, ect):
?Experience in Electronics is required including ability to read and understand circuit diagrams. Knowledge and/or experience in RF is highly desired.
?5 or more years experience is desired
?Ability to problem solve complex high power (120 Watts) RF systems and products to module level initially and to component level with the necessary training
?Experience and/or understanding in Passive Intermodulation Measurement is desired
?Ability to setup and use RF test equipment. Power Meters, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analysers, VNA's, etc.
?Knowledge of mobile telephone systems and base station infrastructure would be advantageous
?Advanced level of problem solving and analytical skills
?Familiarity with ISO9000 QMS environments and calibration traceability
?Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate works orders in the service cell
?Have proven ability to work independently or as a team member
?Mechanical aptitude is desired
?Ability to work unsupervised at all times
?Good communication skills, both written and verbal
?Willingness to interact with customers and provide them with courteous and competent support
?Ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands and priorities
?Key focus on continuous improvement
?Good manual dexterity
?Willingness to work overtime on short notice
?An excellent understanding of all service cell procedures and policies are essential to the success of this role
?A commitment to the further development of existing skills, and the acquisition of any additional skills that may be required through in- house and/or external training
