Job Responsibilities:

- Implement Best practices on existing MES: Work on implement as much as possible standard procedures for current global MES practices in AP Region: CIM, Paco, Metrics, RVS, Ware

- Update/upgrade existing system: Implement/ development of patches and enhancements to the current environment and/or Software updates if required. Work in coordination with other MES analyst(s) to keep software version standards globally

- Implement enhancements to current MES apps including solution for new Label Formats requested by customers

- Lead and Coordinate New MES launches in AP Region. Work directly with the business to gather manufacturing systems requirements and act as a Project Manager for MES new projects

- Work with the business on their requirements definition

- Cooperate with IT functions, e.g., ERP, infrastructure, network, and local operation and business functions, e.g., PD, manufacturing, supply chain, and plant management

- Monitors activities on programs for potential technical and quality problems and make recommendations to technical problems

- Solve problems on design, analysis, testing or implementation

- Responsible for coordinating any outstanding calls. Be the main MES contact for sev2 and sev1 tickets in AP Region

- Creates a cultural environment of personal and team development and continuous improvement

- Attend and or coordinate periodic review meetings

- Provide Support and development based on Business needs

- Implement enhancements to current MES apps

- Work as a team member of MES Center of Excellence: develop and maintain stabilization efforts for each MES application, interface to operations support personnel and development of MES Application Roadmap

Qualification Requirement:

- Bachelor degree of a computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience, Electronics Engineer or related degree

- 5+ years or above of related business experience in automotive industry

- Rich project management experience

- Excellent communication skills and strong leadership

- Experience of application system on manufacturing like ERP is preferred

- Basic to Medium level of Knowledge on SQL, Oracle, visual studio, and development tools

- Preferably Knowledge on Manufacturing Equipment interfaces: PLC's, Robots, Manufacturing equipment, Manufacturing and Poke Yoke systems strong understanding

- Good analytical and trouble/problem shooting and skills

- Good knowledge on manufacturing, supply chain, equipment management, plant management, and planning management

- Clearly understand Manufacturing process and need

- Ability to conduct independent development work and effectively apply technical expertise

- Ability to make sound judgments and recommendations regarding design and process decisions

- Good analytical and trouble/problem shooting and skills

- Multitask oriented and able to set priorities

- Must have strong follow-up skills and be quick to respond

- Ability to deal with the business areas

- Superior knowledge of hardware in present use in the facility

- Strong knowledge of Applications, Tool and various development methods and environments

- Good English read, listen, spoken, and written skills.
