Position Description:
- Contributes to the formulation of Lenovo’s SMB segment’s vision and strategy to transform to solutions centric model by providing in-depth analysis of market trends, technological changes and competitor developments.
- Translates the overall solutions strategy into a detailed execution plan, manages project milestones and facilitates communication across multiple stakeholders across different function groups
- Spearheads research projects and workshops, participates in customer engagement activities and provides ad-hoc support to relevant function teams throughout the execution process
- Collaborates with regional product and sales teams to work with existing or potential business partners (Service providers, System Integrators, ISVs, …) to develop value added solutions or offerings and go-to-market strategies
- Works close with SMB world-wide marketing to build global marketing strategies & activities to drive internal and external mindshare on solution selling
- Establishes business metrics and tracks project outcomes and proactively revisits existing plans to address
- Prepares and reports strategy / project reviews through effective presentations


Position Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to utilize and analyze customer insights, market research and competitive analysis in strategy formulation
- Strong IT market sense specifically in terms of technology trends and customer behavior changes
- Knowledgeable regarding industry software, service & hardware key players & changes
- A good understanding of go-to-market strategies for solution sales (HW/SW/Services) in SMB
- Prior experience of working on SaaS offerings is a plus
- Strong understanding of software architecture is a plus

EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor degree or equivalent (Business or IT related degrees would be advantageous)
- Master degree is a plus (Preferably in Business Administration, IT or Strategy related)
- Previous experience as a solutions specialist
- Previous Project Management Experience is a plus
