Purpose of position:

Insure the purchase Direct & Indirect Material to reach efficient goals and service level assigned.

Pre Select and Develop new suppliers for AL required goods and service.

Insure the QCD of new components for new projects from Supplier selection to part release, in cooperation with SQA, R&D, PM, Sales and plant teams, in accordance with MM purchasing procedure.



Responsibilities

1. Prepare sourcing request and sourcing strategy of each commodity and project.

2. Develop new / current supplier or phase out supplier according to market & company status, maintain the supplier panel.

3. Establish regular reporting for commodity and project.

4. Manage sourcing activity with requestor and related department. To choose the appropriate Supplier according to the request.

5. To ensure quality, cost and delivery of purchased goods or service.

6. Organize project / commodity review with supplier and AL teams.

7. To guarantee to follow the Company Purchase Procedures align with MM central purchasing.

8. Responsible for yearly price negotiation with relevant suppliers.

9. Work timely on other tasks as assigned by the Dept. Manager.

Qualifications:

1. College or University diploma holder with major in Mechanical Engineering or Business related principle.

2. Min 3-5 year relevant working experiences preferably in a Foreign Invested Company;

3. Good command of English in both Spoken and Written;

4. Knowledge of AL products and processes

5. Knowledge of Automotive Industry Requirements

6. Knowledge of Commercial: negotiation, cost analysis, supplier management.

7. MS office user: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Power point, Internet,...
