The Business Development Manager is responsible for
- Sales of advertising in print and online products as well as sponsorship packages for events
职位描述 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of the Business Development Manager translate into the following specific responsibilities:
- Selling of advertising in the magazines “世界汽车制造论坛” & “FLUID”(Chinese editions)
- Selling sponsorship packages for our upcoming events and congresses
- Key account management and customer relationship management
- Acquisition of new customers through such measures as cold calling, email campaigns, targeted and follow-up calls and emails, visits, attending of events
- Conceptualisation and creation of sales strategies
- Conceptualisation of cross-selling ideas
- Creation and execution of sales campaigns
- Media research
- Constant learning and frequent updating on sales ideas and methods
- Exchange with other sales executives within the company
- Meeting of sales targets
- Frequent exchange with colleagues across the offices to update them on products, to push them to help with cross selling and to help them sell their products
- Selling of advertising in other products as assigned by the General Manager
Handling of finances as related to ad sales
岗位要求 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of sales experience
- The Sales Manager needs to be hard working, disciplined and with a great hunger for success
- Good English language skills
- He or she must be creative in the development of new ideas
- He or she must have great people and communication skills
- The tolerance for negative feedback from potential customers must be high
- High customer service attitude
- The post holder should be able to input ideas and suggestions for improvements for the services sold
- Independent working will be required to achieve individual tasks. However, team working will be required as all work is centered around the services and products of the company as well as the company image as such
- The role involves a high degree of adherence to confidentiality as it involves working with and having exposure to sensitive information.
- The post holder should maintain regular contact with individuals who depend on or who influence their own work.
- The post holder must be able to take the initiative to solve problems within the scope of their role. If escalation is required, the post holder must take ownership and ensure resolution of the problem.
