The Industry Research Manager is responsible for driving the production of intellectual capital, research content and custom project fulfilment, whilst displaying expert market knowledge, managing client relationships and management/leadership support to a team of market focused Research Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
Research Content DevelopmentConduct detailed industry market research, utilising primary/secondary methodologies. Ensure the integrity of theresearch process and the delivery of market specific intellectual property.
Project Leadership -Manage the delivery of major strategic research/consulting engagements from inception to completion. Incorporate design, plan, cost and validation.
Client CommunicationPartner with internal Business Development and Consulting teams to establish client relationships and facilitate client interaction. Understand client expectations and develop credibility. Conduct detailed/client focused business needs analysis displaying expert market knowledge. Create opportunities and repeat business from current engagements, accurately presenting results at a senior level.
Team Leadership-Lead, manage and drive quality within internal Research Analyst team. Collaborate with the wider Business Development and Consulting functions.
Corporate Development -Contribute to Frost & Sullivan Research/Consulting operations,ensuring best practice and development of market esearch intellectual property content/methodologies.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
The successful candidate will have proven knowledge/market research experience within any specialized industry, with and entrepreneurial style, self-motivation, drive and determination to deliver professional, industry focused research solutions, using a range of research methodologies. Proven success within research project fulfilment and a pro-active, methodical and innovative working practice is essential, with the ability to deliver accurate results within a fast paced, client focused environment.

Essential:
Experience and knowledge within the control systems, software, process equipments, motors, compressors and/or machine tools markets.
Previous analytical/market research experience within a relevant Business to Business consulting or advisory services environment.
Proven experience utilising market research (primary/secondary) methodologies.
Strong project management skills.
Team leader or research management experience.
Advanced ability to manage strong client relationships within the IPC industry.
Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
A degree level education or equivalent.
Desirable:
Direct team management experience.
A relevant postgraduate qualification (for example MA, MBA).
