Research Analyst - Measurement & Instrumentation

The Unique Opportunity:
Frost & Sullivan's Measurement & Instrumentation is rapidly expanding as such we are seeking to recruit a talented and committed Research Analyst to strengthen the team. Being a part of the M&I team, the group focuses on the markets in these distinct areas:
Global Measurement & Instrumentation Markets
Vision building for new markets and technologies
Create/identify new application areas for new and existing technologies
Working in the M&I team, you will undertake business to business research, author expert market reports, work directly with clients on consulting projects, contribute industry news and articles to our website and the trade press, and speak at trade shows and conferences. Our Analysts also have commercial responsibilities and you will work with our sales teams to identify and qualify potential clients for our services.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:
A science, engineering or business related degree
A post graduate qualification is an advantage (i.e. MBA or Masters / PhD in a relevant subject)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commercial acumen and an analytical mind
A second language is desirable
2-4 years of technical experience
Have good understanding in electronics and its applications
Clarity in understanding the electronics market and its dynamics
Create/Generate and manage data to glean important inputs
Think out of the box, innovative, come up with clear ideas and execution plan for the team
Lead/Champion new initiatives in the group
