Sr. Web Analytics Analyst

Job Dexcription:

Primary Job Responsibilities
-This role will utilize business, problem solving and analysis skills to develop key scalable analytic frameworks and to deploy actionable insights and algorithms to optimize our site and promotions
-Lead analytics projects by translating business questions/problems into structured analyses
-Work closely with product, marketing, business development and the executive team to drive insights and execution that produce better user experience and delighted players
-Design experiments, assure test setting quality, oversee implementation, and provide robust readout to determine the impact of changes
-Manage multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment
-Effectively communicate results cross functional groups

Job Requirements
-True passion for understanding consumer's social gaming behavior and tolerance for ambiguity
-Ability to see the big picture, quickly evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritize among many competing asks
-Proven interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - must be able to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations and communicate these to a wide audience such as engineer, product manager and operators for daily operation and product development
-Punctual delivery of results, attentive to details, and high precision in work
-Experience in defining, evaluating, and defending ROI of online/community marketing initiatives
-Understands marketing, the importance of social technologies and online community relationships
-Experience on online marketing, database marketing or product marketing

Specific skills and experience
-Highly proficient with Omniture SiteCatalyst, Discover
-Experience with Google Analytics
-Experience analyzing very large (web scale), complex, multi-dimensional data sets
-Track record in experimental design, A/B testing, consumer experience optimization, BI design
-Excel modeling, good Powerpoint skills and experience with Microstrategy or similar reporting tools
-Experience with SQL
-Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Physics
