In general, a chemist contributes the efforts of product development and does some lab research work. Provide technical support for sourceing team, operation team and sales team accoringly. Contribute for EHS, 5S and other Company activity. Typically reports to Technical Manager of R&D.

PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Conducts and/or participates in research projects within a scientific specialty. Is responsible for meeting research goals within time and budget constraints.
2. Act as the project owner assigned by Technical Manager, work closely with marketing and commercial counterparts to drive and track project results entirely, including designing, preparation, handling, and following up.
3. Organizes the development findings, draws conclusions and summary the report.
4. Set up new test method and be responsible for maintainance lab equipment.
5. Completes assigned marketing and project development activities.
6. Regularly communicate with internal technical teams, including global and regional R&D, sub-lab team. If needed, good communication with other supporting functions, such as technical service team.
7. Provide technical support to supply chain team and operation and quality department if necessary.
8. Provide supervision to laboratory safety.

Minimum Requirements
Master or Bachelor in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer, Material Science

PLUS

1. Self motivated, proactive and confident. Can-do attitude.
2. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to effectively communicate with global technical team and sub-lab colleagues.
3. Good writing and presentation skills, as both are required while interacting with external customers and internal colleagues.
4. Work experience in relative industry of adhesive, such as polymer, resin, plastic etc.2~5 years R&D experience is perferred.
5. Language: English, Mandarin.
