ROLE PURPOSE
? Chromatography Data Systems Specialist
? Implements, troubleshoots, and maintains systems (e.g., desktop, lab systems, laptops, remote printers, LAN, etc.) in the Laboratory environment for TRD&IBP.
? Supports the Domain Business Partner to understand needs and propose innovative solutions to the business
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
In the scope of CDS
? Responsible for the secure operation of the CDS-Systems Chromeleon with +100 clients
? Single Point Of Contact for the customer and Member of the CDS service desk: taking care of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Level Support (incident, problem, change management, Root Cause Analysis, monitoring of instruments, integration of new instruments).
? Support the testing and qualification for new software-releases and versions.
? Coordinating the rollout of new releases and rollout of new systems.
? Support for Instrument-Vendor
? Configuration- and change-management
? Liaise with Application Manager and the Power users
In the scope of Lab support
? Setup of Lab hardware (Desktop, lab systems, printers, scanners, handhelds) following Installation Qualification scripts.
? Tracks, troubleshoots and resolves systems related issues.
? Works in accordance with applicable SOPs and GxP rules.
? Provides technical support and guidance to client through consulting, teaching.
? Designs procedures to provide more efficient operations and utilization.
? Analyze equipment problems and take corrective action.
? May participate in the evaluation of new software packages and equipment
? Identifies and specifies the application and/or system requirements
? Implements and tests prototypes
? Applies installation quality assurance tests and assures consistency with standards
? Applies appropriate testing procedures and scripts
