Report to QA Manager

Position Status: Full-Time

Position Location: Shanghai China

Experience required: more than 4 years QA experience

Education: BS or equivalent experience- advanced Degree a plus

Language: Fluent in reading and writing in English

Excellent English verbal skills required

Resume: Chinese and English versions required

Compensation: Based on experience

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of software releases. It includes helping to improve quality throughout the software lifecycle for both Client Server and WEB based applications supporting a global software development company specialized in the support of the insurance industry for the US and Canada. This position may require leading other QA engineers in support of project testing and will include test planning, test scheduling, test execution, status reporting and interfacing with US based personnel.

Job Description:

· Review product specifications, product designs and customer requirements

· May coordinate QA activities

· Work as a team player for all software testing activities

· Create Test Plans/Test cases based on user defined Use Case requirements

· Execute Test Plans/Test Cases and evaluate the results to ensure specification compliance (may at times execute SQL scripts)

· Enter system encountered defects in the company defect database

· Provide periodic status reports

· May interface directly with US based personnel

Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent test experience

· More than years of solid QA manual, automated or combination of test experience

· Ability to fluently communicate with the US using written and verbal English

· Experience in the creation of Test Plans/Test Cases from system requirements

· Team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and a good work ethic

Preferred Experience:

· Quick Test Pro automated test experience a plus

· Insurance industry domain experience a plus

· Advanced Degree a plus

· Demonstrated previous leadership successes a plus

· Familiarity with Oracle and SQL scripts
