JOB TITLE / 职务名称: Packaging Development Engineer or Supervisor

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB / 设立该职务的基本目的

Be in charge of all sourcing of packaging components for DIOR in Asia, in accordance with their quality, schedule and cost frame;

Sourcing will include new development, localization, and sourcing existing components or service,etc in Asia.

Additional to the packaging development, it includes also the basic role of purchasing, such as negotiation, supplier selection & management, new supplier validation, etc.

Be in charge of coordination with logistics, quality, production, etc

KEY COMPETENCIES FOR THE POSITION

该职务所需的主要资质

Degree in engineering or related discipline

At least 3~4 years full time working experiences in packaging development, preferably in cosmetics or FMCG company;

Very good skill of project management, be able to work independently;

Good knowledge of technology and supplier base;

Good awareness of Supplier quality dimension;

Sense and notion of Purchasing

Master of English is essential;

Strong skill of communication, honest, open, confident, dynamic and rigorous;

Willing to face with challenge and be capable to work under pressure and frequent travel out of Shanghai

DETAIL RESPONSABILITIES / 主要职责

Independently be in charge of all DIOR packaging development projects with limited supervision, which covers principally following areas

- To evaluate the technical feasibility from brief

- To set up technical and functional pre-specification

- To brief suppliers for technical proposal, quotation and planning feedback.

- To select the best suitable supplier within the frame of overall quality assurance.

- To evaluate the supplier’s proposal from technical / cost/ schedule point of view

- To achieve complete homologation of new tooling and pieces –

n To get Marketing approval on esthetic aspect;

n To coordinate functional and industrial tests in collaboration of production, engineer and quality departments.

- To play the role of purchaser

- To communicate closely with Central teams in USA

- To edit and maintain the documents, such as specification, project tracking files, various report, records for key meetings with different parties.

As the summary, to meet the target assigned for final Customs service satisfaction, which is reflected by OTIF, quality, cost, etc.
