Sales Leader, North China


Description

Account management of pharmaceutical clients, secure renewals for existing products and drive the identification and development of new sales opportunities for the entire GBI China portfolio. Build cross client company knowledge and relationships to secure access to key decision makers to develop and close sales opportunities. Combine telephone/email/webinar based sales activity with regular on the ground direct sales activity in the offices of each client.

Key responsibilities

o Deliver the quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned portfolio of clients

o Manage the Beijing team and accounts at major pharmaceutical companies in North China. Renew existing contracts and extend the breadth and depth of relationships to expand the usage of SOURCE. Develop business opportunities for the GBI portfolio including NAVIS, METRIX, and Health Center etc.

o Work in partnership with GBI Product Specialists to develop and close sales opportunities.

o For new accounts proactively identify new contacts and audiences, cultivate relationships and develop and close sales opportunities

o For each account identify client challenges and issues through research and client engagement to develop compelling rationales to support the alignment of GBI services and tools as solutions

o Accurately capture sales opportunities status and details in CRM system and report weekly on progress to sales management

Competencies & Required Experience

o 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with 3-5 years as an account management role in pharmaceutical client facing B2B services

o Bachelor’s or above degree, preferably in life sciences or a similar field

o MBA degree preferable

o Excellent spoken and written Chinese and English

o Self-motivated, able to work independently but also a strong team player and contributor within the organization

o Excellent presentation and communication skills
