Position: Experienced Sourcing Specialist – Category Manager

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in sourcing or International Trade. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the sourcing work; result oriented, possesses strong leadership potential, and understands the Asian Sourcing Market and culture. The role will include supplier exploration and development in many Asian countries including Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and China, etc.

Principle Responsibilities:

- Responsible for sourcing consumer/PPE safety products, etc. as required

- Research Product and factory

- Strong capability for new vendor development

- Solicit bids and cost negotiation with suppliers

- Product comparison and COG management

- Bid review under the direction of sourcing management

- Vendor relationship management and vendor compliance

- Category strategy development based on database analysis and project handling;

- Develop product quality specification in conjunction with QA/QC department

- Understand importance of product quality standard compliance to of destination country;

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a sourcing or trading role, preferably with consumer/PPE safety products;

- Import/export work experience

- Strong material knowledge and a DETAIL orientated attitude to understand and apply standards compliance;

- Proven cost negotiation skills

- Good level of English language/ speaking / writing required;

- Strong interpersonal organization and communication skills with suppliers and customers;

- Minimum of 3-year college degree

- Able to travel frequently

- Computer literate (Proficient in Excel and Word, etc.)

-与QC/QA部门共同制定和提升产品质量规格；

-充分理解产品符合目的地国家相关质量标准的重要性；

具备资格：

-在采购/贸易方面具备2年以上从业经验，有消耗品/个人安全防护用品等采购经验者优先考虑；

-进出口工作经验；

-具有丰富实用的原材料知识及了解适用产品标准细节的意愿；

-成本商务洽谈经验；

-良好的英文听说读写能力；

-良好的沟通合作能力；

-较强的组织和沟通能力；

-熟练电脑办公操作（EXCEL，WORD，等等）；

-大学本科及以上学历；

-可以经常出差，考察工厂；
