Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the achievement of the goals determined by the Warehouse Manager.
- Implement Distribution Center (DC) quality activities to secure less damages and accuracy of inventory.
- Analyze workload to secure daily volume handling and meet the seasonal fluctuation needs.
- Provide information about plans and results to co-workers and explain their overall importance.
- Lead the implementation of new working processes and secure the compliance with given concepts
(Warehousing Concept, Proven Solutions, SOP, etc.).
- Responsible for the safety of co-workers and the working conditions of the workplace and securing that
IKEA rules and guidelines as well as laws and regulations are followed.
- Coordinate with other Departments to make on site decision.
- Lead and develop co-workers within the area of responsibility and in accordance with IKEA co-worker idea.

Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor Degree or above
- More than 3 years supervisory experience, preferable in warehouse operations or similar knowledge
prossesed via different source
- Proven knowledge of health and safety laws, standards and regulations related to warehousing activities
- English basic knowledge
- MS Office knowledge

The only Low Flow DC in Asia Pacific located in Shanghai Seaport Development Zone of Fengxian District has started operation since Dec.1,2008. With a registered investment over US$270 million, DC Fengxian, covering an area about forty thousand square metres, upon completion, Fengxian DC will be the largest of its kind in Asia Pacific and one of the largest foreign-funded warehouses in China.

Meanwhile, IKEA's only product test laboratory outside Sweden is also established in this location.
