RESPONSIBILITIES

? Establishes Monthly KPI's and reviews regularly.

? Works with purchasing and planning teams to reduce or avoid Premium Freight.

? Leads team to implement a Global Freight Payment solution for the site.

? Enforces Supplier adherence to Sensata's Global Carrier Routing Guide.

? Leads freight saving pipelines to meet the finance target.

? Support the logistics team on trouble shooting of routing, tracking and monitoring critical inbound and outbound shipments and optimize the logistics process systematically.

? Manage the forwarders and brokers for continuous improvement.

? Build and maintain the relationship with government agencies, such as Customs, CIQ.

? Build the logistics handling procedure, including equipment import, material import and export, handbook management, freight audit process.

? Work with finance on monthly freight analysis.



REQUIREMENTS



? Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Finance.

? 5-10 Years Experience in China Logistics with at least 2-3 years management experience.

? Extensive experience with China Customs and the Import/Export procedures.

? Expert in overall China logistics processes and requirements.

? Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings as a % of Revenue.

? Strategic thinker capable of converting strategic and tactical plans into an action plan.

? Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence.

? Shown ability to build, manage, energize and motivate teams of employees.

? Strong communication skills and history of influencing at all levels of an organization.

? Can work under pressure and continuously deliver results as requested.

? Ability to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems - strong problem solving skills.

? Ability to positively influence and build relationships with global team members.

? Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with complex project attributes.

? Self-starter capable to lead matrix teams.

? Demonstrated critical thinking capability.

? Desire to learn and to lead in a high growth environment.

? Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel; Access; PowerPoint; etc.
