ARENA Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is having the following open position and is looking for talent people to join its structure.

  

Communicate with merchandising, Production Planning and QA team on order follow-up, packaging review/approval, sample tracking status, inspection and on-time shipment tracking, as well as coordination in the Asian buying trip.

  

Supervise 2 assistant merchandisers and co-work with 1 quality supervisor.

  

Assist the Category Manger on new project development and current on-going projects follow up, and coordinate with Production Planning and QA team on the daily work, such as keeping clear record for order details in company's systems for documentation, coordination, review and analysis.

  

Explain and Train supplier about our quality, social environment, and commercial SOP.

  

Animate the follow up with suppliers on project developing, quality and packaging requirements.

  

Maintain the supplier database.

  

Prepare the price offer, RFX Documents, Analyze report and other necessary documents.

  

Prepare the analysis for buying trips or construction trips for major suppliers with good results (e.g.: prepare samples & technical documents, supplier comparison,)

  

Continuing improve product knowledge.

  

Analyze raw material prices and currency rates, conduct cost breakdown analysis on products and packaging to help negotiation and improve our products.

  

Conduct negotiation according to the defined process.

  

Need to have sense of urgency and call out for any potential shipment delay and do anything proactively to ensure the on-time shipment.

  

Guide and train the Merchandising Assistant for smooth project follow-up on a timely basis.

  

Apply our quality rules with support of QS for the whole product life-cycle.

  

  

Requirements

  

  

*Familiar with European Home Improvement Market.

  

*Knowing sanitary products (faucet, bath equipment, ceramic, plumbing equipment) will be plus.

  

*With minimum 3-5 years working experience in sourcing business.

  

*Bachelor degree, Good English communication skill, knowing German or French will be plus.

*Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded;

  

*Good communication skill, communicate effectively with internal and external parties;
