Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Assist in the development and maintenance of credit policies, procedures and underwriting practices to assess and manage risks;

• Perform underwriting of customers seeking to finance the acquisition of AWPs and other construction equipment;

• Analyze financial information including: basic financial statement information, attested financial statements, personal financial statements, individual and corporate tax returns, cash flow

  statements, etc;

• Identify alternative structuring elements and credit enhancements to support financing proposals;

• Prepare written summaries of each credit underwriting;

• Continually work with multiple stakeholders to develop and improve the quality of credit submissions;

• Establish and maintain credit files for each customer; use automated front‐end workflow

• management system to monitor underwriting work queue, communicate credit decisions and store information;

• Adjudicate credit requests and/or provide recommendations to management on the credit quality of the customer;

• Underwrite recourse requests for transactions funded by third party financing partners and make recommendations to management;

• Monitor credit recourse and evaluate the company’s recourse exposure;

• Support the development and implementation of portfolio management policies and procedures;

• Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular reports on the delinquency, write offs and

  collections performance of the portfolio;

• Support collections activities of the portfolio;

• Adhere to internal/external control standards and compliance requirements;

• Productively interact with funding partners, other team members, sales staff, operations, finance

• and senior management;

• Perform special projects and periodically prepare key reports for senior management;

• Have intimate knowledge of external credit data provided by 3rd parties;

• Keep informed about the legal, compliance and market‐risk‐related issues involved within the

  commercial credit markets;

Experience & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related fields.

Language: Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and good command of oral and written English.

• 3 to 5 years of commercial credit underwriting experience in the equipment leasing market;

  preferably in the construction or heavy equipment segment.

• Understanding of basic trade credit analysis; ability to coordinate term credit activities with trade

  credit analysts;

• Working knowledge of legal structure, credit law, bankruptcy/repossession processes and secured lending practices in China;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills;

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English;

• Be familiar with standard Microsoft Office applications, generic lease/loan applications;

• Possess a high level of integrity, honesty and trust.
