Job Duties

-work with relevant stakeholders to define scope, activity planning & sequencing, resource plan, schedule, cost/budget, governance process, pilot approach (as required) and overall project management plan.

-directly manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, methodology applied and work with business partners to oversee all phases of a project.

-Rigorously monitor project to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, scope, cost and quality parameters to deliver required outcomes.

–apply a structured approach to change management process and tools creating a strategy to support adoption of the changes required at initiative level with consideration of wider portfolio.

–Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness identify key stakeholders and customer impacts for initiatives. Use this to define, execute and implement the plan engaging project stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.

–evaluate success of project, conduct and socialize post implementation review,

–Responsible for direction setting, coordination with all the stakeholders. Support and facilitate delivery, change management, stakeholder management and benefit realisation.

Requirements

-Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines

-Strong planning, and organisational skills

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Experience in delivery across a program lifecycle

-Demonstrated experience in leading sustainable change

-Strong experience in stakeholder coordination and communication

-Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate with influence.

-Proven ability to work effectively in an environment of high activity, competing priorities and time pressures.

-Minimum 8 years demonstrated experiences in merchandise/sourcing area, prefer in the retail industries.

-Tertiary qualification preferred (e.g. Finance, business, project management)

-Strong consultation, change and interpersonal skills

-Sound business acumen

-Customer focus

-Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills

The apparel and footwear divisions source all areas of ***'s, women's and children's apparel, footwear and accessories whilst the general merchandise divisions include toys, electrical, homewares, sporting goods, furniture, stationary, to name just a few.
