Overview

An exciting new opportunity to be part of an international team delivering the most advanced motorsport destination in China. The successful candidate will be responsible to develop the right Communications strategy and materials for Zhejiang Circuit, delivery of a broad range of partner marketing and PR functions and ensure the quality and punctuality of all kinds of responsible events. Creativity, initiative, decisiveness, self-motivation, and good communication skills are required. This position is open immediately for someone looking for an independent, dynamic, fast-paced and multi-faceted role.

Key Responsibilities

Communication, Social and Media Relations Development:

• Developing and implementing social & PR strategies, helping to reach target audience by applying proactive and reactive communications strategies

• Build & maintain relationship with both digital & traditional media
• Publications including auto, racing, lifestyle and portals editorial team to drive Zhejiang Circuit’s brand awareness, with both quantity and quality

• Identify and recommend media collaboration opportunities based on media knowledge and relationships

• Develop comprehensive external and internal communications strategy covering all key stakeholder channels to maximize the return of investment

• Develop content calendar, including communication action plan and content development plan

• Tailor made content for both internal & external communications initiatives use

• Digitalize and socialize product content for social use

• Organizes and executes communication campaigns, journalist tour, fairs and events with focus on leveraging media resources and maximizing awareness
• Monitor and maintain brand guidelines for company to ensure accurate and updated information
• Support co-branding activities to enhance brand impact
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual planning and reporting

Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experiences in media PR, ePR and communications

• Comfortable and experienced with a modern approach to PR (content, social media, influencers, media partnership etc.)
• Ability to work individually and handle self-driven projects efficiently, while able to work with team and cross functional departments
• Ability to iterate ideas to adapt and respond quickly to social sentiment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in mandarin Chinese and English

• Advanced Social & PR management knowledge

• Solid media relationship with Chinese press & KOLs
• Ability to negotiate, close deals and influence key stakeholders
• Excellent presentation skills

• Strong social media sense and familiar with Chinese social media platforms
• Process experience of events management
• Good project management skills

• Life style/ sport/ auto industry experience a BIG plus

Qualifications

• Familiar with Auto / Racing industry
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite of programmes

• Experience in managing internal and external relationships to keep teams inspired and motivated
• Accurate sense of corporate branding & communications to push social & PR result
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills including pleasant manner and strong grasp of style and grammar
