Reports To: Assistant General Counsel, APAC

Location: Shanghai, China

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides support to Gates Greater China legal team on contract review, contract management and legal initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: including the following; other duties may be assigned.

1. Provides support to attorneys in contract review
2. Coordinates contract review with business team
3. Assists in legal research and documents preparation
4. Maintains legal files and management of contracts database
5. Updates, monitors and tracks status change of global contracts in database
6. Assists in contract renewal or extension for key contracts

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • A first or second year graduate student in law school
• Strong organizational, analytical, and listening skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Must be fluent in written and oral English
• Must be detailed oriented
• Self-starter; works independently when given a task
• Ability to work in and maintain a highly confidential environment
• Must have strong MS Office skills

WORKING SCHEDULE:

• Must be able to attend at least 3 days per week
