• Responsible for startup and continuous running operations in packaging and warehouse. Secure the operation when it comes to employees, quality, efficiency, cost, equipment availability, safety and delivering in time.

• Contribute to work out yearly action plan and budget for the temp site operation.

• Responsible for implementation and establishment of existing working policies and rules within P&D and develop new were its needed.

• Responsible for report key figures related to temp site operation and report the result weekly and monthly.

• Secure that the temporary site has all needed knowledge and expertise within the area.

• Secure the compliance with all applicable laws.

• Secure the compliance with IKEA policies and procedures and internal work instructions.

• Continuously work with improvements of working methods and improvements of result.

• Responsible for implementation and follow up.

• Secure that IKEA rules and country specific laws and regulations linked to safety and security are followed.

• Be responsible to secure the recruitment, competence development and introduction of new employees.

• Develop business and people together, secure learning in the business and encourage entrepreneurial behaviour

Requirements:

  

• University degree with specialization in packaging, manufacturing or equivalent competence gained through work experience
• 3-5 years working experience in a management position (preferable manufacturing or related)
• Management and leadership skills
• 3-5 years’ experience within area of expertise
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
• Experience in business system
• Good knowledge and understanding of the whole IKEA supply chain
• Fluent English and Chinese
• Strong ability to enable change, motivate, indirectly lead and inspire people.
• Strong ability to handle stress, complexity and solve problems with several dimensions and make it understandable for the many, being well-structured and organized
• Ability to work with both operational and tactical issues, always considering IKEA as a whole while keeping focus on customer needs.
• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English, both written and spoken.
• Good presentation, facilitation and trainer skills.
