This position is fully responsible for instrument and control engineering work in the detail engineering scope or in the boundary of the skid modular, from technical support for projects before order, technical inquiry & bid evaluation, engineering document review, quality assurance supporting, production and assembly technical supporting and interface clarification between disciplines, to meet instruments and control system reliability and delivery within related specification and requirements.

Related work experience相关工作经验

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in instrument and control engineering.
• Knowledge of international instrumentation design codes and standard and common industrial standards used in the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industry or similar
• Working experience of control valve and flow meter calculation selection will be advantage
• Previous working experience in chemical process industry will be advantage
• Working experience in design institute will be advantage

Formal education or equivalent教育背景

• Bachelor or above in instrumentation or electrical engineering or equivalent

Skills技能

• PLC programming skill will be advantage
• Proficient in MS Windows, Office software
• Good English in both oral and written

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责

• Preparation and design of Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), in conjunctions with Process Engineers
• Preparation and design of instrument selection and field instruments installation plan
• Participation in equipment layout design, assisting Plant & Piping Engineers
• Preparation of process plant operating control philosophy, including alarm and interlocking trip matrix, in conjunctions with Process Engineers
• Develop SIS, SIF and SIL
• Participation in HAZOP for process plant
• Preparing wiring line diagrams, instruments, panel and PLC control specifications
• Prepare specification for inquiry and issuing PR for purchasing PLC, instrument and subcontracting work.
• Clarification and evaluation of vendor quotations; review of vendor design documentation; check and inspect vendor goods upon delivery
• Be responsible to ensure the scope and quality(result, report) for wiring and cabling work done by subcontractor.
• Site testing and commissioning of instrument and control systems
• Any other assignments which the management may require from time to time.
