Job Description

VELVET Group is seeking a talented Graphic Design to join its Shanghai team.

The Graphic Designer will play a hands-on role in conceptualizing and implementing design solutions for clients and the agency. Knowledge of video editing is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be bright, imaginative, and proactive, with proven creative and critical thinking. He/she will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, taking initiative to work with team members to achieve optimal solutions in a timely manner.

The Graphic Design will report to the Creative Manager.

Responsibilities

• Participate in brainstorming creative ideas and mechanisms for campaigns, events, content, etc.
• Conceptualize, design and execution of digital ads, websites, marketing collateral, social and mobile content
• Produce the visual elements of campaigns and digital ads in all kinds of media, including but not limited to online (digital / social media /viral), posters, website, activation / promotion, printing, videos, others; ?
• Work with other teams to come up with design guidelines and directed marketing materials
• Ensure consistent visual identity across communications
• Provide quality control, deadline management and observe strict brand guideline ?disciplines for all clients’ brands to deliver the utmost outcome of the projects; ?
• Editing the final results for presentation to the client; ?
• Accomplish creative department work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, ?scheduling, coaching employees; ?
• Review project production factors by background information, ?objectives, presentation approaches, styles, and techniques; ?
• Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, ?implementing changes; ?
• Work closely with service team and copywriter to bring concepts to life on schedule ?and on brief; ?
• Raise the overall creative standards

Requirements

• Passion for Digital and marketing

• Experienced in mobile layout
• Bachelor's in Graphic Design or related work equivalent
• Ambitious

• Familiar with social media platform systems (wechat, etc.) a plus

Language:

• Native Chinese
• Fluent in English oral and written

Software:

• Adobe CS, AI, InDesign and other editing software
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Video and front-end web development skills a plus
• Other creative editing software a plus
