  Analyst Intern – CN Carbon Markets  

You will be involved in producing the full range of analysis for China carbon markets. The analyst will also cover our rapidly growing consulting business by coordinating involved stakeholders and delivering high quality reports to customers under tight schedules.

  Main responsibilities  

• Research the market design of the Chinese emission trading systems

• Maintain and improve carbon databases

• Develop and maintain price forecast models

• Follow the latest developments of the markets

• Interact with key domestic and international stakeholders in the carbon industry

          Key skills   

• Bachelors or Master degree in quantitative, energy or economics related disciplines

• Analytical mind-set & affinity to energy markets

• Good financial knowledge (e.g., derivatives)

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English

• Good interpersonal communication skills including presentation skills

• Ideally experience in the carbon markets
