JOB TITLE
Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Experienced project manager to work on NPD, Supplier Management and other missions, with detailed knowledge of injection molding progress.

JOB ENVIRONMENT

- Work with cross-function multi-culture team in France, US and China, and OEM suppliers in Asia
- Based in Jingan District, Shanghai and travel to OEM within Asia will be required (15% - 30%).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

New project development (NPD) of stationery products
- Perform design review on 2D & 3D drawing and identify potential improvements.
- Draft RFQ based on Product Spec, and compare quotations for supplier selection.
- Select supplier with global cross function project team based on technical competence, pricing, logistics flow, etc.
- Maintain good communication with OEM suppliers on daily basis.
- Identify technical problems and provide solutions with project team. Follow up the issues with action plan.
- Perform P-FMEA and yield rate improvement during production ramp up

Supplier Management
- Establish good working relationship with OEM and 2nd tier suppliers.
- Manage product and process changes
- Manage production capacity (injection molds, machines and labor force) and inventory during a product change
- Work with OEM suppliers on continuous quality improvement and cost reduction
- Organize lesson learns and knowledge sharing.

Other Missions
- Manage industrial projects with budget up to 150K USD
- Manage oversea production relocation
- Work with Product Safety Team to ensure products conform to worldwide safety regulation (EU, NAM, Brazil, etc.)
- Source and audit new OEM suppliers
- Lookout for unique products or technology or materials

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5-8 years’ experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment
- Detailed understanding of injection molding process and assembly process
- Experience in using process driven and analytical approaches to problem-solving (Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, etc.)
- Strong sense of urgency to take immediate actions and follow-ups
- Business level English and Chinese; French a plus
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
