Merchandising tasks: buying, allocation, replenishments, analysis and so on.

ü Capable of managing a category independently, covering retail, outlet and Ecommerce

ü Analyze the qualitative and quantitative requirements of product for direct retail

ü Analyze the sell-in and the sell-out for products and customers

ü Manage 'a buying process' with logic of allocation of goods for each store in Asia, based on the cluster, the objective of turnover, the type of customers, etc.

ü Optimize the flow of product between stores

ü Collect the store's needs and feedbacks

ü Create and manage a corporate reporting system to analyze 'missing sales for missing goods'

ü Analysis for sales performance and ST, action plan and follow-up

ü Replenishments

ü Involvement in buying

ü Working together with store managers to ensure best assortment for each store

ü Working together with store managers to change visual pushing slow movers (not only best sellers)

Retail Coordination tasks: ensuring standardization of processes in the stores (VM, stock movements, props, mannequins, Window, store environment, training, and store opening and so on).

ü VM and window prop coordination, ensure the management guideline is followed

ü Stock transfer

ü Ensuring training materials are properly done, travel between the stores to add value through retail training.

ü Support store openings.

ü Family and Friends’ sales preparation and operation

Requirements:

ü High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point.

ü Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities

ü Experience in buying, sales planning preferred

ü Strong Analytical skills with fashion oriented business mind.

ü Able to make clear decisions driven by business strategy

ü Highly organized, detail oriented and can multi task

ü Flexibility and humble, hard-working attitude and patience is essential

ü Bachelor’s degree or above

ü 2-3 years’ experience in buying &/or merchandising planning. Preferably in luxury

ü Fluent in spoken and written English

The story began in 1954, when Ada Masotti, a corset-maker (couturière) founded the iconic lingerie brand in Bologna. La Perla is one of few historical fashion houses with a woman founder and this year marks the 65th anniversary. The brand name was inspired by the elaborate way Masotti would present her products to customers - carefully packaging them away in red velvet boxes like those you would use for jewelry.
 
The name she chose - La Perla - was certainly full of promise. Starting out when stretch fabrics had yet to appear and expert tailoring was the only way to shape a garment, Ada Masotti laid the foundations for that attention to detail and love of perfection which are still central to La Perla's philosophy today.
 
La Perla has evolved to become one of the most well-known luxury underwear brands in the world. "La Perla has changed in the same way that women have changed over the years" says the brand's Creative Director, Alessandra Bertuzzi, but "functionality, technicality, craftsmanship the key aesthetics have been preserved and respected."
 
Since 2013, La Perla was owned by Italian businessman Silvio Scaglia via its Pacific Global Management holding company. In February 2018, it was acquired by German entrepreneur Lars Windhorst under his global investment firm, Tennor Holding B.V. His mission is to take La Perla to the next level and continue Silvio’s vision of creating a worldwide luxury brand, while keeping its production in Europe.
 
La Perla’s strategic focus is shaped around maximizing its business opportunities in each region, modernizing the core business whilst staying authentic and relevant to todays’ luxury consumers and continue being true to their brand DNA, iconic collections, and core values.
 
The aim is to become a luxury everyday lingerie/intimate apparel brand and consistently deliver new and innovative products with the intention to retain loyal customers and gain new ones.
