Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure excellent communication between local customer and product team as well between local and German product team for general product related topics such as localization, target cost, supplier and production capacity, VAVE, benchmark activities

2. Define and plan KPIs, budget and resources, in alignment with German product team, for internal projects, e.g. localization activities. Ensure proper risk management

3. Lead internal project teams and ensure smooth internal and external (suppliers) communication and achievements of defined KPIs

4. Create project requests, change requests and status reports for owned projects and present it to the management upon request

5. Lead product team related escalations and ensure necessary actions are defined and realized

6. Regular review of the Central Volume Planning with local customer teams and ensure right attention on the realistic volume planning. Align necessary measures and actions with German product team and other related departments

7. Analyze current product cost structure and component cost details. Create new localization ideas and other cost reduction measures and define target costs for the upcoming years, together with purchasing and global team

8. Propose, initiate and organize benchmark activities for local product team. Align required resources with management and track the outcome. Ensure benchmark activities are proper documented and stored on the server

9. Initiate and organize local cost reduction workshops with customer teams and function teams. Continuous follow up on the ideas to ensure realization in time and with expected result

10. Prepare presentations and analyzes (product description, cost development, capacity situation, production footprint, supplier strategy, timing plans…)for management review and customer team activities

Job Qualification:

1. Bachelor degree or above major in engineering
2. 3-5 years working experience
3. Clear thinking, good sense of responsibility, patient and can work independently and stand with a project time pressure
4. Excellent communication skills. Experience in global project team at least 2 years
5. Very good English and Chinese language skills
6. Minimum 3 years relevant experiences in automotive industry in China, at least 2 years’ experience working as a Project leader
7. Knowledge of spindle drives, deck lid/tailgate automatic opening and ECU control system is a clear advantage
8. Familiar with Design Principles in Automotive Industry, Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management methods
9. Good knowledge of material technology and manufacturing methods, CAD
