Job description:
? Mechanical design and thermal simulation of Automotive lighting systems with a focus at high power LED.
? Generate innovative and practical mechanical/thermal design for front and signaling lighting applications in collaboration with leading automotive customers in APR.
? Verification of proposed mechanical and thermal design by prototyping and thermal measurements.
? Participate in and initiate of collaborative projects in an international team environment (R&D, application, marketing, external customers)
? Presentation of design solutions to internal and external customers
? Delivery of time efficient and high quality application and design in supports to external customers
? Creates application demand specifications. Contributes to product specifications by analysis of application potential and customer needs.
? Participates in product-/project teams, represents Application team in design review processes.


Your profile:
? B.E. or Master degree in mechanics, electronics or physics
? Strong background in one of following fields: mechanical design, prototype construction, thermal analysis, molding/manufacturing/assembly process
? Practical work experience in automotive or lighting industry preferred
? Advanced knowledge and skills in applying one of following mechanical and thermal design tools including CATIA, FloEFD or ANSYS.
? Fluent in English, very good in both writing and speaking
? Good presentation and communication skills with strong focus on customers
? Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic work environment and to strive for solid results by collaboration with colleagues from different background
? Strongly motivated to create innovative technical solutions
? Good skill in time management and project prioritization
? Ability to quickly learn new knowledge and to make own contributions within a short period of time
