Main Purposes:

1. Manage the design and phase-in/phase-out process of (new) packaging.
2. Facilitate the packaging design creation/changes as project manager between Product Management, R&D, Supply chain, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Graphics design and packaging engineering to enable the new packaging / product launch.
3. Interface with other regions (Europe, USA) for designs of packaging supplied from Asia

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Packaging project control:
？Plan packaging projects and complete them correctly and in time according to the needs of the businesses and procedures.
？Manage the engineers to design die-cuts according to requests from customer. Review their output and send to customer for confirmation
？Manage the design agency to design artwork according to requests from customer: Brief requests, review their output, send to customer for confirmation and direct final deliverables to the right suppliers/functions.
？Make sure packaging design is correct before release to production (especially for artwork/documents)
？Give clear instructions to suppliers and data management to issue documents to related factory/department.
？Apply lamp/component 12NC and EAN from data management according to NLO PMs, and retrieve existing 12NC when product managers ask for help. Give product managers correct information of packaging data to apply in their order book.
？Set up and update packing project overview for product manager’s status update and escalation, hold regular meetings with related parties to drive project progress.
？Communicate with related factory/department on packaging issues and follow-up on improvement actions. Ensure they understand well about packaging modifications or new developments. Review new designs with them such that these can be applied in production.

2. Packaging supply management
？Follow up package phase-in and out plan to make sure smooth procedure for changeover/write-off.
？Train new lamp suppliers: Support technical engineers to give related training for new lamp suppliers.
？Visit suppliers regularly to better understand and solve their problems, drive for continuous improvements.
？Drive cost reduction opportunities with respect to packaging and logistics.

Job Requirements:

a) Education学历:
-Bachelor degree or above

b) Experience工作经验:
- At least 2 years’ experience, preferably with technical background (packaging/mechanical design) or graphics design background
- Basic knowledge of packing material
- Work experience in an environment dealing with multiple managers/stakeholders
- Knowledge / experience in Program/Product management / Data management is preferred

c) Travel Frequency出差频率:
<50%
