Job Title: Sale Representative, East China
Reports to: Commercial Manager China (Deep sea)
Brief Description of Roles (i.e. purpose of role)
1. Daily sales/development and control of export/import for liquid & gas business;
2. Being an interface with export/import customers that understands what they need whilst fulfilling it as possible;
3. Coordinate with related departments/offices to ensure a smooth arrangement of export/import business;
4. Keep and maintain job journals and report as request;
5. Follow the company’s policies and procedures at all time.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Key Activity 1 – Daily sales of export/import for liquid & gas business Approx. % time
? To representing Den Hartogh for relevant sales/business development/OPS/PR issues in/around E.China
? To explore new business, maintain and grow existing business
? To develop and maintain solid relationship with the customers
? To organize logistic solutions, build rapport with both customers and agents, maintain and update the record of customers' service route, development plan and etc.
? To manage presentations, proposals, quotations and tendering for (new) projects of the customers via coordination the resources internally and externally
? To establish solid suppliers’ relationship incl. shipping lines, trucking companies, warehousing companies, etc., in order to achieve competitive quotations
? To build up and maintain marketing database including sales leads, competitor information, quotations, etc. Prepare monthly Market Intelligence Reports
? To review the payment performance of various customers; monitor customers' activities in the market in order to control the risk exposure
? To coordinate, cooperate and communicate with other departments of the company and customers to fulfill the customer’s order and after sales services.

? Draft and maintain the sales related contract and documents;
? Work closely with financial department to deliver invoice & chasing the payment;
? Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure smooth service;
? Keep and maintain daily sales journals and reports as request. 30%
Key Activity 3 –Maintenance of System data
? Provide customer’s detail information and assess its creditability for accounting department to open the customer account in Swift XP;
? Maintain the Swift database on quotes 20%
