Reports to:
? Purchasing Manager (Division/Product) / GPO Assortment Manager
Other stakeholders:
? GPO team, Buying Office and Supply Chain Organization

Accountability
The Development Responsible is accountable to:
? Execute the agreed global home textile product and component development strategy based on the buying strategy
? Provide the Supply Chain and Global Purchasing Organization/Main Market with necessary information based on customers, section trends and developments
? Secure equal products globally based on customers and concepts
? Identify and coordinate the competence needed for market development of concepts

Main Responsibilities
? Develop, analyze and follow up the home textile production market’s capabilities based on customers and concepts together with the Purchasing Manager (Division/Product)
? Enable new opportunities, based on the concept information & trends, with teams in the Global Purchasing Organization/Main Market and Supply Chain
? Continuously provide feedback and support with solutions, to concerned teams in production markets
? Support the customer/concept appropriate options on product and components in the development and quotation stage based on the purpose of development
? Seek knowledge from the Buying Office team about what the concept/customer requires/wants and what the Supply Chain needs to support and understand the needs
? Secure that components and products are developed and produced in the right market to secure the best product and best buy together with the Purchasing Manager (Division/Product)
? Conduct risk assessment in the development stage to take necessary actions to produce the best product
? Be responsible for the concepts Material/Component Library and to receive and coordinate material sample bookings
? Support the growth of the Development Coordinator through inspiration, delegation, feedback and motivation

Education and Experience requirements
? Education preferably in textiles/fashion design
? Preferably experience in home textile product development processes
? Preferably 4-5 years of relevant experience

Knowledge and Skills requirements
? Excellent written and spoken English
? Strong knowledge of the brand / customers / concepts
? Knowledge of different product types

? Constantly updated about trends
? Strong leadership and communication skills
? Business sense and strategic ability
