PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION
？ Ensure the company’s accounting records are properly maintained
？ Prepare the monthly financial statements on a timely manner
TEAMWORK, SUPPORT, MOTIVATE STAFF, EMPOWER STAFF, CAREER PLANNING
？ To promote good business relations between the Accounting department and all other departments, to lead a team of well-trained and motivated staff.
？ Ensure that the subordinates are performing their tasks properly and efficiently.
DUTIES
？ Ensure that the daily bank and cash balance are properly managed.
？ Check payment vouchers prepared by Accounts Payable section.
？ Assist in preparation of full year forecast for all operations.
？ Ensure that month-end closing procedures covering Inventory, Account Payable, Account Receivable and General Ledger are performed by subordinates and other sections.
？ Review accounts reconciliation prepared by subordinates.
？ Review bank reconciliation prepared by subordinates.
？ Check Journal Vouchers prepared by subordinates and other sections.
？ Prepare monthly financial statements.
？ Complete any statistical questionnaire / surveys from Government, other local authorities or for Head office.
？ Assist in preparation of Annual Budget
？ Assist in preparation of annual marketing plan when necessary.
？ Prepare year-end account schedules for external audit purposes.
？ Perform various accounting analysis as required by the management.
？ Compare actual expenditure to budget and report to the management when significant variance occurs in order that remedial action can be taken..
？ Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time
