PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Allocation Specialist is one of the core members in the merchandising team who will support the buyer in CN to execute all sorts of merchandising activities, based on product launch schedule and promotion plan to do the product allocation, delivery arrangement and in–store execution in China. The role will work closely with China buyer in conducting and implementing various kinds of analysis, planning and store operation (e.g., merchandising assortment plan, launch plan, delivery, deployment, replenishment, sell through and stock clearance plan). This role will also work closely with the online & offline sales team and marketing team to achieve the sales growth with targeted profitability.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Allocate initial and reserve merchandises according to the best strategy or method set by management team, which is based on the category plan, seasonality and performance data.
- Plan product monthly launch schedule according to GTM / marketing calendar and POS inventory status by analyzing daily and historical sell-through data to deliver the best assortment per POS
- Plan and work with logistics department about on-schedule shipment & delivery and back-office procedures
- Coordinate with POS sales staff, operations team and internal Planning team on assortment needs per month
- Maintain and handle the retail systems and retail database
- Review all new and replenishment products frequently at the POS level.
- Actively participates to the retail KPI’s delivery
- Support and maintain the inventory integrity of all marketing featured items (windows, POPs, catalogs etc.) and planned promotion.
- Build opening assortments for new stores based on agreed opening sales plans.
- Manage the flow of markdown product to maximize sell through and margin, minimize markdowns.
- Working with merchandising buyer and planner and agree on target rates of sales and inventory to support promotional strategies by store grade.
- Support other ad hoc project as assigned

Job Requirements
PERSONAL QUALITIES
? Possess outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written English and Mandarin
? Good business acumen and possess the ability to analyze numbers and sort through complexity and present in a strategic and conclusive approach
? Resilient when facing adversity and stress
? Adapt easily into complex organization and diverse audiences
? Charismatic and able to drive for team spirit within the organization and work effectively in a team environment
? Able to prioritize and work independently and possess good time management skills
? flexible, multi-task and be detail oriented
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
? At least 1 year hands-on retail planning experience in underwear, lifestyle, fast fashion, sportswear, footwear
? Strong understanding of retail market in respective marketplace
? Strong numerical sense, analytical skills, business acumen
? Knowledge of online retail is advantage
