Other stakeholders include:
? Internal: Sweden Head Office International Assignments team (applicable to global role), Expat, Accounts / Admin, HR Business Partners, HR Manager, Line Manager
? External: External agency, service provider and governmental organizations

Accountability
The International Assignments Responsible is accountable to:
? Provide pre-assignment and relocation assistance, visa and immigration, pensions, tax compliance, expat benefits and expense administration, salary benchmarking and repatriation assistance
? Provide similar if not all support for permanent relocations and international local hires
? Handle on-boarding and leaver assistance
? Manage Employees going on Long-Term or Short-Term International Assignments in Production teams worldwide (applicable to global role)
? Provide end-to-end international assignments support, including but not limited to assignment package design and negotiation, contract preparation, policy review and execution, payroll and insurance administration (applicable to global role)

Main Responsibilities
End-to-End Expat Assignment Cycle
? Manage Expat annual salary review and salary & benefit benchmark survey
? Provide expertise and guidance to HR business partners and when needed to Expats regarding expat-related issues, contracts, international assignments guidelines, policies and processes
? Source for service providers, maintain contact/relationship, keep check of performance, review service fee invoices
? Track spending and other details on school debentures and capital levies
? Expat benefit/expense cost allocations
? Provide visa and immigration assistance to Expats
? Manage exception
? Perform salary build-up, prepare contracts and present to HR business partner, line manager and Expat (applicable to global role)
? Prepare and follow up Expat contract/prolongation letter (applicable to global role)
? Provide feedback on policy to the Buying Office’s International Assignments for improvement in future updating (applicable to global role)
? Liaise with local Production teams for monthly split payroll and home pension deduction (applicable to global role)
? Review current benefits and source for better options (applicable to global role)
? Keep up to date with market practices, new trends in expatriate management and make suggestions for improvement (applicable to global role)
? Maintain full population of Expat-related database and records (applicable to global role)
? Provide assistance/guidance to the Retail Office (applicable to global role)
? Handle Expat payroll for various Production teams and Hong Kong pension administration for those inbound to or outbound from Hong Kong (applicable to Hong Kong only)
? Provide Hong Kong banking-related assistance to Expats across Production (applicable to Hong Kong only)
? Be responsible for individual tax compliance (Employer and Employee) and tax gross-up calculations on tax-borne allowances for Expats based in Hong Kong (applicable to Hong Kong only)
? Develop and review the Housing Policy for Expat corporate leases in Hong Kong (applicable to Hong Kong only)

Co-operation with Stakeholders
? Work closely with HR business partners and other International Assignments Responsibles in order to secure the same understanding of policy interpretation and execution
? Participate in Payroll audit
? Guide new International Assignments Responsibles and provide assistance with salary build-up (applicable to global role)
? Work closely with the International Assignments Department in Sweden in order to secure the right and updated policies to handle different kinds of expat contracts (applicable to global role)
? Liaise with Global accounting in costing / charge-back of Expat-related benefits (applicable to global role)

Education and Experience requirements
? Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Management or related discipline
Knowledge and Skill requirements
? Extensive experience in expatriate tax and expatriate management
? Knowledge of immigration, compensation and benefits
? Experience in customer service for a good mix of multinationals
? Professional, punchy, attentive to details with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
? Capable of handling sensitive material on a confidential basis
? Flexible, fair, discreet, sound logical judgment and culturally sensitive
? Excellent written and spoken English
