Finance Manager / Controller role
S/he supports the HQ Finance Departments (Reporting & Corporate Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, treasury) in the accurate and timely completion of the periodical reporting
S/he is responsible for monitoring the apply accounting practices, procedures, financial controls, costs, the overall accounting for the company, as well as internal financial policies and regulation
Supports the interpretation of financial data, complying with reporting and fiscal standards, along with being internal advisor to other Team Members from various Departments
Actively participating in financial systems development as long as to any other system that related to companyˇs financial information.
Responsibilities in detail:
Part of the core financial team driving actions to achieve and exceed planned improvements in year-over-year revenue, net income, working capital and free cash flow to identify and implement continuous improvement processes
Ensure accurate and timely production of all financial information
Support the transition of the Financial Statements from Local GAAP to US GAAP framework and alignment with Group policies
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Support actively the Tax Reporting towards the parent company
Recordation of journal entries required to reflect the monthly activity
Preparation of workpapers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances
Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
Preparation of monthly financial statements and related footnotes
Preparation of the year to date statutory cash flow
Suggest changes to the internal Finance controls, improvements related to the close and reporting cycles
Proper analytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective
Suggest improvements to reduce finance and business process cycle times, improve financial reporting quality and enhance information provided to internal or external parties
Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Skills and Specifications:
Masterˇs degree or comparable professional education with focus on Finance & Controlling
Three to five years of experience in Financial Reporting / Controlling
Familiar with international business environments and ideally, in the area of IT and/or the automotive branch
Professional qualification of Accounting and Finance (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA) completed or in the final stages
Profound experience in working with IFRS and US GAAP
Good skills of local legal requirements and tax
Good skills in NAV / Excel
Outstanding entrepreneurial thinking combined with service orientation and empathy
Excellent communication and a highly analytical mind, leading to problem solving approach and behavior
The ability to work in an international, multitasked, fast-paced and changing environment
Fluent in at least two languages; one of it English
