Overview
KPMG Innovative Startup Centre (ZGC Office) locates in China’s Silicon Valley. It is one of the key components designated by KPMG’s Global Innovation Strategy and a critical innovation joint along with United Kingdom, United States, Germany, and Israel. The centre adopts an O2O model to offer online and offline services to help rapidly growing tech companies with business model optimization, fundraising, market expansion, and operational support. The centre will be in sync with the global innovation trends, and become a connecting bridge between China and the West and a display window of China’s innovation and entrepreneurship.

Startup Advisory team is constantly involved in providing consulting services and assistance to startups, investors and corporates. We provide an excellent and unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of startups across TMT industry. Also, you’ll have a chance to work with a highly motivated team of skilled and experienced specialists within the centre.


Responsibilities
·Understand requirements of roles in the innovative ecosystem (including startups, investors, incubators and corporates) and utilize technical ability and client relationship skills to win and develop new business
·Deliver financing, taxation and management consulting services to startup clients
·Support business development by participating in client meetings and preparing proposals and contracts
·Work as part of a team of professionals for a wide variety of clients
·Maintain regular communication with leaders, managers, team members and clients on issues and engagement process

Experience and Knowledge
·2-3 years’ experience in a professional service environment (accounting, auditing, tax, financing and FA experience preferred, TMT industry related experience preferred) and good commercial awareness
·Rich experience and deep understanding of a certain industry preferred
·Understand ZGC office’s strategy and business objectives
·Basic accounting and financing knowledge required
·Experience related to financial analysis preferred
·Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
·Flexible to handle multiple tasks at the same time with high efficiency
·Good typing and computer skills – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
·Proven ability to develop and manage people effectively through leadership, appropriate delegation, coaching and mentoring of staff ( for B&C candidates)

Professional Certifications
·CICPA, CTA and CMA preferred
