Mission
To develop, implement and optimize the physical flows (transport, warehouse and customs) within Greater China and Southeast Asia region, in line with GBU SC strategy
? Cost of operations, including transport, handling and warehousing cost;
? Inventory accuracy;
? HSE & compliance;
? Trade compliance;
? Customer complaints related to logistics;
? Customer satisfaction;
? Team performance;
Responsibilities:
? Maintain solid knowledge about the GBU business, products and customers. Stay updated about trends and development within the supply chain domain, as well as all relevant laws, rules and regulations affecting the supply chain activities.
? Define, propose, implement and follow up objectives, plans and budgets for the logistics operations.
? Define and follow up appropriate KPI’s for the own organization and external partners.
? Develop different options in logistics flow and action plans in the concept of TCO.
? Manage inbound and outbound product flow, as well as the regional distribution centers/warehouses.
? Troubleshooting in logistics operations at all levels.
? Define and negotiate service level agreement with regional suppliers and subcontractors.
? Define and deploy procedures regarding logistics operations, to meet changes in legislation, customer demand and company policies and standards. And ensure all procedures are followed by Solvay personnel and suppliers.
? Benchmark the competitiveness of logistics operations.
? Develop and manage projects to improve performance and effectiveness and/or respond to customer and market needs.
? Develop new supply chain approaches, enabling the Sales & Marketing to propose competitive offers to customers.
? Manage and improve the claim process in order to resolve the causes of customer complaints, propose corrective and preventive actions and follow up the efficiency of the action plans.
? Manage and coordinate with internal and external partners in HSE
? Define team structure and the resources needed, lead, motivate, coach, develop and evaluate the members of the own team.

Requirements:
? Bachelor degree in relevant area (supply chain management, logistics, international trade, etc)
? At least 6 years of relevant working experience in logistics. And min. 3 years of experience as a leader or people manager.
? Experience and deep understanding of international trade, and complex trade models (e.g. 3 or 4 parties trade) is a strong plus.
? Hands on experience in import and export operations. Experience in WGQ Free Trade Zone operation is a strong plus.
? Understanding of relevant rules and regulations of China customs and foreign exchange administration.
? Experience in managing regional distribution centers/warehouses. Overseas DC/warehouse experience is a strong plus.
? Experience in managing suppliers is preferred.
? Good oral and written communication skills in English.
? Good interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quick in learning, and able to work under pressure.
? Experience of Microsoft Office software is a must. Solid SAP (LE/MM) experience is highly preferred.
