职位描述：
? To lead and manage a team of Technologists from different categories across Asia to deliver all technical aspects of product development, in line with the Quality management system and Quality policy to ensure the business’ products are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations
? To develop high level supplier management strategies in ensuring that suppliers implement best practices and continuous improvements to meet quality standards and maximise customer satisfaction whilst ensuring procedures and processes are adhered to
? Ensure teams can deliver on time shipments with no quality incidents at destination
? Provide leadership, maintain, develop and train team members to secure and develop core competencies, capable of meeting current and future challenges
? Develop and drive new policies for continuous improvement across Asia suppliers
? Maintain effective working relationship with related internal and external stakeholders in Asia and UK

Responsibilities:
? Ensure suppliers understand Sainsbury's Technical Requirements
? Assist Head of Technical to develop and implement QA/QC Strategies to support the business growth
? Contribute to the creation and implementation for best practice, quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance and meet the long term strategy and development targets of the technical team
? Lead supplier development strategy, designing metrics for function and supplier performance
? Work in tandem with Category Head (Merchandising) to develop and execute strategy for delivery and alignment in supplier management
? Manage, mentor and develop a team of technologists to meet objectives which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
? Provide leadership, direction, management and development to the technical team
? Set objectives/KPIs, review and assess performance of team
? Identifying key processes, eliminating waste and drive changes for a perfect value process
? Strategising for future growth, standardising overall team structure through effective planning, recruitment, training, development, appraising and supervision to maximise efficiency
? Manage adequate staffing levels, annual leave, financial budgeting, attendance and disciplinary issues
? Input and hold responsibility for technical cost
? Responsible for achieving budget and forecast
? Develop and maintain relationship with external stakeholders including suppliers and third party inspection and testing service providers
? Harmonise and streamline current working practices and processes and fully align them across the Asia buying office, UK and suppliers
