职位描述：
Pacific Epoch, an investment research firm focused on Chinese high-tech industries is seeking a research analyst to cover China’s consumer and retail evolution with direct coverage of multinational consumer companies, as well as broader trends and themes within the intersection of retail and e-business.
Responsibilities:
? Conduct fundamental, forward-looking investment research in China’s consumer space, at both industry and company levels through primary research
? Organize data, combining industry knowledge, into decent insight and help senior analyst prepare research findings to institutional investors
? Participate in developing, collecting, managing and analyzing the data sets for consumer space both online and offline
? Follow industry newsflow and attend industry conferences, company conferences to develop relationships with key contacts
? Work with the research team and tech team to refine research methodologies and develop potential data sets to evaluate key metrics of covered sectors and companies
Qualifications:
? Recent college graduates with at least 1-2 year of work experience preferred
? Must have a Bachelor’s degree or above from a university either domestic or overseas (preferred)
? Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
? Must be highly numerical, comfortable with numbers and working with large data sets
? Good MS office skills, especially strong in Excel. Knowledge of SQL preferred
? Previous experience in consulting, market research or equity research preferred
