职位描述

Major Accountabilities:

-Ensure that all China Job Changes achieve consistent Best in Class JCI performances:
-Analyze each individual plants line by line Job Change metric trends. Measure deviation from global Best in Class performance using LSS tools. Lead the China plants in implementing process procedures.
-Lead regular Job Change Observation Audits.
-Identify gaps to establish opportunities and collaborate with the plants job change personnel to facilitate actions to improve the capability of the Plants' job change processes and their people.
-Establishing close working relationships with all Plant Job Change Managers to leverage regional and Global learnings. Provide Plant Management with technical assistance on specific job change issues and problems from the Operational Advancement team or other plants.

-Ensuring that:
-EH&S standards are not compromised throughout job change activity
-Job Change manning is within the OI Model Manning Template guidelines
-Culture of continuous improvement and total discomfort with the status quo is nurtured
-Effective IT systems to support the Job Change process are established.
-Production Planning and New Product Design (NPD) reduce the impact of job sequencing on job change performance.
-Job Change performance is monitored and regular transparent plant by plant benchmarked feedback is provided on performance trends to Plant Managers, Manufacturing, Job Change Managers, and other stakeholders.
-High Performance Plant (HPP) Job Change teams are developed using Six Sigma and Lean principles, and Rapid Changeover techniques.
-Job Change specifications and Best Practices, including facilitating Best Practice workshops are developed and maintained.
-Lead Product Design, Forming Engineering and Inspection and Packaging Operations in the establishment of the technical direction for engineering issues related to reducing job change complexity including mould, weight/parison and FP families. Average Job Change categories will be driven down
-Develop and facilitates networking activities by (including but not limited to) facilitating monthly conference calls with China plant SME's, promoting utilization of collaboration spaces, sharing network vision to China plants, issuing monthly reports.
-Develops and promotes operational and maintenance best practices, involving all stakeholders in their development and implementation, leveraging LSS methodologies. Ensure compliance in China through the facilitation and involvement in workshops and/or audits
-Supervise / manage the performance, development, attendance and behaviors of staff. Ensure all staff are aware and follow employment and legislative responsibilities in relation to safety, discrimination and O-I HR policies

Requirements:

-Proven experience as Manufacturing Manager, MIM, FMU Leader or have a proven track record managing Job Change functions in glass manufacturing sites with leading job change performance.
-Proven experience in all aspects of the glass production process. A detailed knowledge of the hot and cold end production processes and associated equipment is essential.
-Glass plant experience is prefered.
