Job Description:
This position is within Silica Asia business team and will report to Silica Asia VP/GM. He/She is recognized as silica technology experts with deep knowledge of customer applications, and will support G-KAM with strong technical expertise
? Coordinate the technical marketing activity at Tire GKA in the region (mainly China based, plus other selected Asian countries) and set priority on innovation projects with G-KAM
? Manage interactions with R&I for Innovation/ Customer Services
? Pro-actively communicate market technical insights (market needs, trends, competition, risks) within the GBU
? Propose new project/innovation ideas to the GBU Innovation Governance
? Grow and deliver DevPool

Requirements:
? Bachelor degree with deep technical knowledges of the Tire/ Rubber Industries
? At least 8 years of progressively increasing responsibilities on Technical Services/ Supports at the Tire/ Rubber Industries, including 5 years at management level
? Excellent academy and application knowledge on Tire compounding and building
? Be familiar with rubber testing and characterization methods. Could explain all testing data to customer for business development
? Excellent verbal and written English and Mandarin communication skills combined with ability to prepare and present effective technical presentations
? Ready to travel around China and Taiwan to have R&I customer meetings with the support of the local sales teams
? Experience in tire or rubber market field would certainly be beneficial
? Ability to work in Asian cultural context is critical
? Be open, self-confidence and great team work spirit
? Strong desires for success, self-motivated, proactively looking for new challenges
