Account Executive

Reports to: Account Manager
Position Type: Full time, permanent
Location : Shanghai, China

Role Purpose
■ Responsible for customer service and product delivery through constant liaison with clients and suppliers on all matters relating to print and campaign management services. The primary focus of this role will be to deliver exceptional customer service
■ Requests for quotations will be processed by the client/on site Account Management Teams in the first instance, but there is a responsibility to ensure the documentation is completed correctly
■ Selection of the most appropriate supplier, negotiate costing and timescales for each job and ensure that internal procedures are followed at all times. Orders will be processed in the most efficient manner available.
■ Responsibility to ensure Williams Lea Tag purchase order is correct and being placed with approved supplier
■ Ownership of the development of client relationships and supplier partnerships

Key Responsibilities
Operations
■ Procurement of Marketing print / POSM materials , delivering on time, to specification, to quality and to contractual targets
■ Provide technical input and advice on print projects as required
■ Management of campaigns and components
■ Ensure detailed specifications for suppliers are in place
■ Management of campaign kitting and delivery logistics
■ Develops strong relationships with suppliers and is expert in their capabilities
■ Implements and uses management information systems
■ Ensures best practice in conjunction with wider Williams Lea Tag operations group
■ Daily tracking and analysis of benchmarking information, ensuring that this data is communicated monthly to the Account Manager
■ Provide management information on demand
■ Deep understanding of e-Procurement (Immedia) operations and the ability to support training/daily operations where less experienced users need it

Finance
■ Ensures most competitive costs are achieved on each project
■ Ensures best practice procedures are followed and documentation complete
■ Meet contracted cost saving targets

Client Management
■ Develops a good understanding of both the client’s and partners business and industry sector
■ Builds relationships with clients and partners and manage their perceptions and expectations
■ Owns and resolves customer complaints
■ Attends customer meetings

Business Development
■ Demonstrates an understanding of the technological direction of the industry and how these advances will benefit the client
■ Identifies and develops business opportunities in line with the business plan

Personal Development
■ Takes responsibility for own performance management working with the support of your manager
■ Takes responsibility for own development
■ Coaches and supports peers as appropriate

Process
■ Ensures results of the customer satisfaction survey are acted upon where necessary
■ Implements and uses best practice principles
■ Implements and reviews local operating procedures manual

Person Specification
? Strong all round print industry experience in either purchasing or production management
? Knowledge of 2D, 3D print and display materials an advantage
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Excellent customer service skills and client management ability
? Detail-orientated
? Self-motivated
? Commercially strong and numerate
? Committed, resilient and prepared to work extra hours as required
? Experience of working in an environment where priorities are constantly changing
? Can manage change, and keep a clear perspective of end goals
? Well-presented
? PC literate (Word, Excel, email etc)
? Strong English languages skills preferred
