Responsibilities and Authority

- Supply base development supplier scouting evaluation and selection

- RFQS support to new products.

- Post MR cost reductions planning

- Supplier quality management

- Negotiation, Altemate source and redesign

- Suppliers relationships management, supplier performance review

- Cost competitive studies, Industrial benchmard and manufacturing technology update

Core Skills:

- Process deep engineering knowledge in the related commodity: ME commodity. Sound knowledge of procurement related functions.

- Previous R&D support experience will be an added advantage. Good knowledge of purchasing and quality operations with ability to improve processes and implement pllicies to enhance effectiveness of the department.

- Proficient in written and spoken english. Able to prioritize rapidly in response to changing business enviroment and manage high stree. Possess strong project management skills. Good team work. Eyes for detail and must feedback event if it is against the prevailing system approach.
