工作职责:
Reports to
 Capacity Assurance Manager/Capacity Assurance Senior
Other stakeholders:
 Internal: Sourcing and Graphics, Business, Sustainability, Quality and Shipping
 External: H&M suppliers, commercial units and potential suppliers

Accountability
The Sourcing Responsible is accountable to:
 Source new suppliers
 Introduce H&M Group’s requirements to the new suppliers
 Evaluate new and existing suppliers together with internal stakeholders

Main Responsibilities
Research and source new suppliers
 Introduce H&M Group’s requirements to the new suppliers
 Conduct initial visits and coordinate factory visits for other departments in Production. Follow up on
any actions required
 Pass price quotation query to the supplier
 Develop products
 Screen and evaluate the capability and capacity of new suppliers according to H&M’s requirements
 Coordinate the orientation for new suppliers
 Identify opportunities for building relationships
 Update new and existing suppliers’ information in the systems
 Coordinate with the Business teams to control subcontract production
 Verify capacity with existing suppliers
 Work actively with regard to talent identification, staff development and succession planning
 Identify capability gaps (current and future) and work towards bridging these gaps through
performance management, staff development, strategic recruitment, etc.

Education and Experience requirements
 University graduate. Industrial and Textiles Engineering Graduate preferred
 At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing & buying

 Merchandising and supplier sourcing experience in the relevant product category
 Excellent presentation and communication skills
 Strong follow-up skills
 Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
 Fluent written & spoken English
