1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Complete a summary that describes the purpose of the position.
1) Key support role for the APAC Business Development team and Inside Sales Manager - Asia Pacific. Conducting initial lead screening either through website enquiries or through marketing efforts. Acting as the first point of contact for potential new customers.
2) To drive the commercial activities of Catalent across the defined market and customer base, with a specific focus on developing tailored product and technical solutions to meet both existing and new customer's needs, and then delivering those solutions to provide profitable and sustainable outcomes under the direction of the Inside Sales Manager - Asia Pacific.
2. SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Environment, Health and Safety
? Conduct all activities with due consideration for the environment, safety of employees, contractors and visitors at the site.
? Adhere to all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
? Ensure implementation of safety improvements in direct area of responsibility.
? Develop preventative measures to ensure compliance.
? Initiate safety improvements.
? Attend all safety training, as requested, and recommend update of safety equipment, as required, within area of responsibility.
2) General
? Adhere to and comply with all Company policies and procedures in relation to:

o GMP
? Demonstrate commitment to Continuous Improvement (CI) and Operational Excellence within the department and the site.
3) Communication
? Communicate effectively and appropriately (verbal and written) across all levels and functions to drive positive outcomes for internal and external:

o Stakeholders

Act as the initial contact for all new customer leads generated through web or phone enquiries. Coordinate through global inside sales team on lead generation activities. Specific action plans for sales team to execute
Achieve targets set for lead conversion
Run campaigns as required to support the APAC region across Catalent's multiple technologies Evaluate the quality of leads and opportunities that result from the campaigns
Promote customer awareness of Catalent's suite of technologies across the APAC region Strong pipeline of warm leads
CDA management assisting BD team with implementation & compliance All customers and potential customers have a valid CDA in place
Contribute to the growth of the overall business in terms of both new products and Customers Handle all lead requests without specified Account Managers to validate the lead quality
Comply with all global sales expectation on voyager and Sales op mechs Full user knowledge (training will be provided)
3. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Identify the following minimum requirements to perform the job.

? Degree in Science and/or Business preferred
2) Experience Requirements
? List the type of experience required to satisfactorily perform the job functions (e.g. worked successfully in a fast paced GMP environment.)
o Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Business Development.
o Thorough understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry.
o Full understanding of the pharmaceutical new product development from both a commercial, technical and project management perspective.
o Proven experience with customer interactions and communication
3) Knowledge/Skill Requirements
? List any special knowledge and/or other skills required to perform the job function.
o Proven ability to organise, plan and balance multiple priorities effectively.
o Capable of understanding financial information and ability to make sound business decisions based on careful analysis of this information.
o Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
o Strong computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Suite, internet search engines and CRM databases and subscriptions (such as Sales Force, Kite Desk, Clear Slide, etc).
o Ability to work effectively as member of interdisciplinary teams.
o Ability to interact effectively with scientists and technical staff from customers and within the Catalent organization
